Welcome to the Takeshi Karate Association web site. The TKA is committed to delivering high quality  karate-do to all our members at all levels.  We are primarily a Wado-Ryu association but welcome members of other karate-do styles.

Karate can help to develop physical skills such as coordination, fitness and self defence.  It also develops life and social skills such as discipline, respect and confidence.  So come along and give us a try.

The English Karate Federation (EKF) is the only Governing Body recognised by both the European Karate Federation and the World Karate Federation

You can be assured of quality and protection as our association operates the following…..

We have a number of instructors, all who have a minimum of 5 years in a martial arts environment and have earned their black belts as recognised by the EKF.
